This is a very good hardcover. Circa 1940's Putnam Publishing, copyright page states 1901 but that was the original publication and copyright page never updated to save money as is found in so many editions. This copy is very good inside and out. Illustrated frontispiece with tissue guard still in place. The pages are clean with only a hint of natural tanning from age. The binding is cracked, typical for vintage books, BUT there is only two spot found that indicate such, pg 102-103 and pg 54-55 and the pages are still tight to binding so this is an acceptable binding condition. Olive green hardcover boards are very good with only light shelf wear. The gold lettering front cover is very good with barely any fading.
Crown octavo book size or 5.5" x 8" with 159 pages.
