This is a very good set of two hardcovers, NO dust jackets, jackets missing. 1976 First Edition Open Court Publishing. CONDITION NOTE: this set of 2 is very clean inside and out BUT we did notice several pages that have underlined sentence or small note in margin. Otherwise the inside pages are very cleaned still crisp. ALSO there is some dust spotting along outer top page edges, mostly Book Two, but does not carry over to inside pages. Blue hardcover boards on each are also very good with only light shelf wear. Each volume is medium octavo book size or 6" x 9" with 1322 pages collectively.
This two volume set was one of The Library of Living Philosophers Series, The Philosophy of Karl Popper, Book One and Book Two. The set was volume XlV of the series. It has been edited by Paul Arthur Schilpp. There are four "parts" in the two volume set. Part One, Book One contains The Autobiography of Karl Popper and Part Two, Book One is Descriptive and Critical Essays on The Philosopher of Karl Popper (with 7 subsections) . Part Three, of Book Two contains The Philosopher Replies (with 8 subsections) and Part Four, Book Two is Bibliography of the Writings of Karl Popper.
