This is a near fine (almost like new) hardcover with accompanying dust jacket. 1993 Blue and Grey Press. This copy is still crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are crisp and clean w no markings seen. The binding is tight and straight. Tan hardcover boards under jacket are also near fine with barely a hint of shelf wear. The accompanying dust jacket is still clean and shiny with only a hint of shelf wear to corners/edges. Standard medium octavo book size or 6.5" x 9.5" with 468 pages. There is a little dust spotting along top page edges but does NOT carry over to inside pages.
The Campaigns of Stuart's Cavalry by H.B. McClellan was first published in 1885. McClellan was a cavalry officer himself and the first serious scholar of Stuart's contribution to the Confederacy. Stuart was Lee's most trusted cavalry officer and valiant soldier. The book contains illustrated maps and a frontispiece illustration of J.E.B. Stuart. It details campaigns and is a definitive account.
