Right or Wrong God Judge Me The Writings of John Wilkes Booth has been edited by John Rhodehamel and Louise Taper. All of the known writings of Booth are included in this edition. Included is the previously unpublished manuscript discovered at the Players Club in Manhattan. It was written by Booth in 1860 and resembles Mark Anthony's funeral oration in Julius Caesar. It makes clear his hatred for Lincoln and and rooted in his pro-Southern ideology. There are nearly 74 documents presented including 6 love letters to a 17 year old Boston girl, Isabel Sumner, that were written in 1864.
