This is a near fine (almost like new) hardcover with dust jacket. Modern Library reprint 1978. This copy is still crisp and clean inside and out. NOTE: inside flap of dust jacket is neatly price clipped. The inside pages are crisp and clean w no markings seen. The binding is tight and straight. Brown hardcover boards under jacket have the "new" Modern Library stamp embossed front and title lettering along spine. Hardcover boards are near fine with barely a hint of shelf wear. The accompanying dust jacket is very good, NOTE price clipped. Otherwise, only a hint of shelf wear to jacket. Modern Library crown octavo book size or 5" x 8" with 285 pages including epilogue.
Anne Frank The Diary of a Young Girl is the classic of our time. It represents the horror and tragedy of the Occupation but is very intimate with consoling humor. Otto Frank, who survived the war, published the diary in 1947.
