This is a very good leather-bound copy with clear accompanying slipcover. Circa 1970's published by Trustees of Mary Baker Eddy. This copy is very good inside and out. NOTE: the only markings seen is previous owners name, date of 4-28-70 and "gift from mama' on first blank page, see photo. The rest of the pages are crisp and clean. The binding is tight and straight. Gold gilt page edges and this edition has page tabs for reference, see photo. Bound in blue leather, the edition features gold design front and gold lettering spine. The leather cover is very good with only a hint of wear as protected by the accompanying very good clear sleeve which is trimmed in matching blue leather with gold filigree corners. A fine and handsome edition of this religious metaphysical text.
Medium octavo book size or 6.5" x 9.5" with 699 pages.
Mary Baker Eddy explains the scientific laws behind the teachings of Christian Science. It is the authors primary work and contains the full explanation of Christian Science and its biblical foundation for healing and spiritual renewal. Although published in 1875, she continued working on it and making changes for the rest of her life.
