This is a very good large coffee table style paperback. 1988 Verlag Hatje Publisher, Germany for Guggenheim catalog, 5000 copies. This copy is very good inside and out. The pages are still crisp and clean. The binding is tight and straight. The cover is also very good, clean and shiny with only light shelf wear. Large quarto book size or 10" x 13" with 138 pages including index.
Cars by Andy Warhol is a catalog of his work featuring cars of all models and ages. Black and white line drawings are accompanied by full color art including several pull-out three page sections. The colors and style are mistakably Warhol with his distinct signature artwork style. Extensive history of the artists work prefaces the collection featured in the catalog. Final section of the catalog features black and white vintage photos of Warhol at work in the "Biographies and Memoirs" section.
