This is a very good hardcover. Circa 1970's Kingsport Press Illustrated Junior Library for Grosset & Dunlap original publishers of Jr Library in 1948. This copy is very clean inside and out. The pages only have a hint of light natural tanning from age and are clean. The binding fine sewn binding as found in Illustrated Jr Library to ensure durability. The binding is tight and straight. Hardcover boards are illustrated in full color front with solid blue back. Boards are very good with only light shelf wear. Medium octavo book size or 6.5" X 9.5" with 327 pages and color illustrated endpapers front and back. Original Illustrated Jr Library books would be Grosset & Dunlap and not include the Kingsport Press note on copyright page so many are NOT original 1940 editions, rather circa 1970 reprints. Check copyright pages for appropriate edition information.
This edition of The Little Lame Prince and Adventures of a Brownie has been illustrated by Lucille Corcos. It is the 1970'2 reprint edition, Kingsport Press for the original publisher of Jr Library books, Grosset and Dunlap circa 1940's. A wonderful adventure story of growing up and forgiveness.
