There are only two photos of this item as it is still in original shrink-wrap. It appears as new with no wearing as wrapped. Larger size, quarto book size or rectangle 9" x 12".
Fort Davis and the Texas Frontier contains Western Art paintings from Captain Arthur T. Lee, Eighth U.S. Infantry. Content are sketches or watercolors of Fort Davis and rural Texas. Arthur T Lee served as an officer in the regular army before and during the Civil War. He was a talented painter, historian, essayist and more. He was stationed at Fort Stockton when news of Texas' secession came. The art is accompanied with text by W. Stephen Thomas.
