This is a near fine (almost like new) hardcover. 2001 State Street Press. This edition is crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are still crisp and clean w no markings, foxing etc. Bound as a fine print edition the following appointments highlight the edition such as simulated leather look hardcover boards with gold design, lettering front and title/author/publisher lettering spine. Attached satin bookmark. All three page edges tipped in gold gilt. The binding is tight and straight, the cover near fine with only a hint of shelf wear. Medium octavo book size or 6.5" x 9.5" with 665 pages.
This edition of The Works of H.G. Wells contains The Time Machine, The Island of Doctor Moreau, The Invisible Man, The First Men in the Moon, The Food of the Gods, and The War of the Worlds. An Intro of the author and the titles is included.
