The Dangerous Summer by Ernest Hemingway is his account of returning to Spain in 1959. Life Magazine commissioned him to write an article about the trip but Hemingway became so engrossed in the drama that he wrote a full book-length manuscript. It became the last major literary undertaking of his life. Two black and white photo spreads contribute to the dramatic and detailed narrative of the trip and the events. This edition contains an Intro by James A. Michener.
