This is a very good larger paperback. First U.S. Edition 1978 Ballantine Books. This copy is still crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are crisp and clean w no markings seen. The binding is tight and straight. The cover is still clean and shiny with only very light shelf wear. Larger size, imperial octavo book size or 7" x 11".

His renowned illustrations grace the covers of book covers, posters, paintings and record covers along with other media. This edition has been edited by Betty Ballantine. There are major subjects in this book not previously covered. Along with the stunning full color art are black and white sketches from his "doodle" book.
