This is a near fine (almost like new) hardcover with dust jacket. 1989 National Geographic Society Publishing. This copy is still crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are crisp and clean w no markings seen. The binding is tight and straight. Navy blue hardcover boards under jacket feature the Nat Geo design front and are also near fine with barely a hint of shelf wear. The author, Seymour L Fishbein along with photographer Raymond Gehman, delve into the region. They found loggers, hunters, and hikers experiences along with delving into the regions past. They roamed on horseback and skies and scaled the Grand Teton. Included with the engaging text are maps outlining grizzly and elk migration and more. The book truly celebrates the history and future of the wilderness area.
