This is a very good larger hardcover with accompanying slipcase AND original Heritage Press Sandglass pamphlet. 1970 Heritage Press. This copy is crisp and clean inside. The pages are still crisp and clean w no markings seen. There is light dust spotting along out page edges but does not carry over to inside. The binding is tight and straight and features a fine sewn binding. Navy blue hardcover boards are also near fine with only a hint of shelf wear. The accompanying gold slipcase is very good, also with only a hint of shelf wear. Super octavo book size or 7" x 11" with 357 pages.
The Odyssey by Homer is one of the Greek poets epic poems. It is one of the oldest works of literature. It follows the Greek hero, Odysseus and is divided into 24 parts. This edition in English verse has been translated by Alexander Pope with illustrations by John Flaxman. the original Heritage Press Sandglass pamphlet is included.
