This is a near fine (almost like new) hardcover with accompanying slipcase AND original Sandglass pamphlet. Circa 1960's Heritage Press. Copyright page states 1957 but this edition is a Heritage Press reprint from LEC George Macy Publishing. This copy is still crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are crisp and clean w no markings seen. The binding is tight and straight featuring fine sewn binding. White hardcover boards are also near fine with barely a hint of shelf wear. The accompanying brown slipcase is very good with only light shelf wear. Larger size, imperial octavo book size or 8" x 11" with 267 pages.
The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym by Edgar Allan Poe was written in 1838. The story tells of Pym who is a stowaway on a whaling ship. Shipwreck, mutiny and more befall Pym before he is rescued. This edition contains the original Sandglass pamphlet and is illustrated by René Clarke.
