This is a near fine (almost like new) set of four hardcovers. 1982 20th Anniversary Edition Volumes 1-4 Automobile Quarterly in association with Princeton Institute for Historic Research. Each of the four volumes are near fine inside and out. The pages are still crisp and clean with no markings seen. The bindings on each is tight and straight. Hardcover boards feature a classic car illustration front with title and volume lettering on spine, NOTE: Volume 4 of this set has minor scuffing to front cover (see photo), rest are near fine. The hardcover boards are also near fine with only a hint of shelf wear. Each volume is imperial octavo book size or 9" x 11" rectangle.
Automotive Quarterly was first published in 1962 with the subtitle " The Connoisseur's Magazine of Motoring Today, Yesterday, and Tomorrow". The last issue was in 2012. Each edition contains classic and vintage cars and was known for the exceptional photography and detailed accompanying text for each vehicle.
