This is a near fine (almost like new) larger hardcover. 1986 Henry Holt Publishing. This copy is still crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are crisp and clean. Hardcover boards are still clean and shiny with barely a hint of shelf wear. The original accompanying work book is also like new, unused, and included. Larger quarto book size or 10" x 13".
The Ultimate Alphabet by Mike Wilks is a work of art and English. Over a four year period the artist set out to depict as many words as possible in 26 images that correspond to the alphabet. Each image contains hundreds of items starting with the same letter. Numbered line drawings are accompanied by words that serve as a key. The artistry is exquisite and the full color illustrations invite the reader to find and accompanying words to complete the puzzle. This copy includes the original unused workbook for readers to complete that tasks.
