This is a near fine (almost like new) hardcover. 1971 Nobel Prize Library CRM Publishing. This copy is still crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are crisp and clean with no markings seen. The binding is tight and straight. Navy blue hardcover boards feature pebbled design giving a leather-like appearance. Nobel Prize emblem featured on front cover in maroon with maroon/gold design and lettering on spine. Medium octavo book size or 6.5" x 9.5".
Under sponsorship of the Nobel Foundation and Swedish Academy, CRM Publishing and Alexis Gregory presented Nobel Prize laureates and their work in a series of books, Nobel Prize Library. Each volume contains 2-4 laureates and along with their presentations speeches and acceptance speeches if applicable. Also features is a section on the authors life and works. Each volume has been finely illustrated with color plates by various artists selected for the stories presented. In addition, each author is depicted in finely illustrated black and white line drawings upon introduction.
