This is a very good hardcover with dust jacket. 1975 Weathervane Books Edition w 50 color plates by illustrator Arthur Rackham. This copy is very good inside and out. The inside pages are still crisp and clean with no markings seen. The binding is tight and straight. Blue hardcover boards under jacket are also very good with only very light shelf wear. The accompanying dust jacket is still clean and shiny with light shelf wear to corners/edges. Royal octavo book size or 7" x 11" with 125 pages not including 18 color plates back of book.
This edition is a facsimile of the original First 1906 edition. Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens by J.M. Barrie finds Peter returning to his playground, Kensington Gardens. This delightful tale has been delightfully illustrated by Arthur Rackham. There are 50 full color plates by Rackham in the edition. More than just a story, this is a work of art with the illustrations from the famed illustrator.
