This is a near fine (almost like new) hardcover with accompanying slipcase. 1975 Limited Edition Westvaco Publishing. This copy is crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are still crisp and clean with no markings seen. The binding is tight and straight. Bound in linen finish book cloth, the hardcover boards are also near fine with barely a hint of shelf wear. The accompanying slipcase is near fine with only very light shelf wear. Standard octavo book size or 6" x 9" with 122 pages.
Thomas Jefferson, Monticello Virginia is a special limited edition from Westvaco Publishing in celebration of the American Revolution Bicentennial. Fold out of Jefferson's drawing of Monticello graces the title page. It features architectural designs from Monticello along with selections from Jefferson's writings 1774-1825 arranged chronologically in 3 parts. In addition Jefferson the Statesman, Jefferson the Politician, and Jefferson the Philosopher make up the rest of the book. This special edition features decorative illustrations on the slipcase, and is printed on eggshell natural paper. The cover is bound in linen finish book cloth. The foreword details Jefferson and the books limited edition appointments.
