This is a near fine (almost like new) hardcover with dust jacket. 1991 MJF Books Edition originally published by Harvard University Press. This copy is still crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are crisp and clean with no markings seen. The binding is tight and straight. Maroon hardcover boards with tan quarter trim under jacket are also near fine with barely a hint of shelf wear. The accompanying dust jacket is near fine, still clean and shiny with only very light shelf wear. Medium octavo book size or 6.5" x 9.5" with 551 page including index.
