This is a near fine (almost like new) hardcover with accompanying slipcase. 1991 Heritage Press Edition. This copy is still crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are crisp and clean with no markings seen. The binding is tight and straight. Green hardcover boards feature "town" illustrations front with tan title/author lettering along spine. The hardcover boards are also near fine with barely a hint of shelf wear. The accompanying green slipcase is very good with only very light shelf wear. Super octavo book size or 7" x 11" with 118 pages.
This edition of Our Town a Play in Three Acts by Thornton Wilder was published in 1991 by Heritage Press. Still contains the original Heritage Press Sandglass pamphlet. The edition features an Intro by Brooks Atkinson and is finely illustrated by Robert J. Lee.
Thornton Wilder wrote Our Town in 1938. The play has been hailed as one of the greatest American plays ever written. Set in the fictional town of Grover's Corners, it highlights the everyday life of its residents between 1901 and 1913.
