This is a very good hardcover with dust jacket. 1978 Peerage Books Edition. This copy is still crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are crisp and clean with no markings seen. The binding is tight and straight. Green illustrated hardcover boards under jacket are also very good with only a hint of shelf wear. The accompanying dust jacket is clean and still mostly shiny with light shelf wear. Medium octavo book size or 6.5" x 9.5" with 291 pages including index.
Wildfowl of the World is compiles by Eric Soothill and Peter Whitehead. Foreword by Robert Arbib editor at the time of National Audubon Society. The book contains nearly all the known species of wildfowl illustrated in full color with expert text and outstanding photos. There are 128 color plates by leading wildlife and bird photographers. In addition, where to find species both in the wild and on reserves is included. Anatomical illustrations front and back endpapers.
