This is a near fine (almost like new) large hardcover with dust jacket. 1983 Longman Press. This copy is crisp and clean inside and out. NOTE: only marking seen is inside front cover, top right corner, neatly written in small letters "Christmas 1983". Rest of pages are still crisp and clean. The binding is tight and straight. Hardcover boards under jacket are fully illustrated in color matching jacket and are also near fine. The accompanying dust jacket is still clean and shiny with only a hint of shelf wear. This is a large hardcover, quarto book size or 10" x 13" with 144 pages.
The Golden Treasury of Classic Fairy Tales are tales from Hans Andersen, the Brothers Grimm, and Charles Perrault as retold by Milton Subotsky. It is a collectible title with superb illustrations. Six classic tales fill the pages and they are all superbly illustrated. Every page showcases full color illustrations. The stories are retold in easy to read clean and simple words for young readers to enjoy.
