This is a very good hardcover. 1953 DoubleDay Publishing, single complete works volume. NO dust jacket, jacket missing. This copy is very good inside and out. The pages are very clean with no markings seen. The only spotting or tanning is seen inside front and back cover (see photos). Otherwise no foxing etc seen inside pages. The tan hardcover boards are also very good with only light shelf wear. The binding is tight and straight. Standard octavo book size or 6" x 9" with 1692 pages.
This is a single volume collection of the Complete Works of William Sidney Porter, best known by his pen name O. Henry. It is a collection of his stories, poetry and nonfiction works. The American writer is best known for his story "The Gift of the Magi" and novels The Ransom of Red Chief and Cabbages and Kings.
