This is a very good mass market paperback. First TOR Books Printing Sept. 1982. This copy is very good inside and out. The pages do have light natural tanning from age but are clean with no markings seen. The binding is tight and straight, NO creasing along spine. The cover is also very good with light shelf wear. Cover front and back is clean and still shiny with only light shelf wear. Standard 16mo book size, mass market paperback, or 4" x 7" with 210 pages including epilogue.
The Djinn by Graham Masterton is another great story from one of the masters of horror, Graham Masterton. The Djinn is " one of a class of beneficent or malevolent spirits that inhabit the Earth". Djinn is capable of assuming various forms and exercise supernatural power. It all began with a curious investigation of an ancient Arabian jar and the strange legends of sorcery symbolized by it. Legend and logic said the jar should be opened. Smoke swirled out and the djinn twisted in the smoke, turning itself into something else. Like a horrible hallucination, the mythical terrors of an age that was lost and forgotten over 1000 yrs ago, was brought back to life.
