This is a very good hardcover. 1915 Oxford University Press. This copy is very clean inside and out. The pages only have very light natural tanning from age with no foxing or markings seen. The binding is tight and straight. Olive green hardcover boards have gold title lettering front and spine. The hardcover boards are also very good, clean with only a hint of shelf wear. Crown octavo book size or 5" x 8" with 82 pages. Smaller hardcover, designed to be a "pocket book" for carrying around and reading anywhere.
The Alcestis by Euripides has been translated into English verse with explanatory notes by Gilbert Murray. The The Ancient Greek Tragedy is thought to have been first performed around 438 BC. It is one of Euripides oldest works.
