This is a very good hardcover with accompanying dust jacket. 1971 Pequot Press. This copy is very clean and the pages are remarkably still crisp inside. No markings seen. The binding is tight and straight. Burnt orange hardcover boards under jacket are also very good with only a hint of shelf wear. The accompanying dust jacket is very good with only light shelf wear. Standard octavo book size or 6" x 9" with 198 pages including index. Illustrated maps inside front and back endpapers.

It played a vital role in the largest and bloodiest engagement of the Indian Wars of New England. It was the virtual capital of Narragansett county during the boundary controversy with Connecticut.
