This is a good, rare hardcover. Circa early 1900's, believed 1909 Collier and Son Publishing. This copy is good inside and out. There is only light natural tanning to pages from age, no foxing or markings seen. The binding is very good, tight and straight. Top page edges tipped in gold, showing some wear but overall good. Red hardcover boards are very good overall but there is light shelf wear along edges/corners. Attached satin ribbon bookmark in place but is faded and fraying. Illustrated endpapers front and back. Crown octavo book size or 5.5" x 8" with 1004 pages.
The Works of Rudyard Kipling is a One Volume Edition published by Collier. It is not illustrated but there is a frontispiece photo of Kipling. Originally published in 13 Volumes when published as complete works, this edition is a ONE Volume edition containing the complete works.
