This is a near fine (almost like new) hardcover with dust jacket. 1990 Book Club Edition Putnam Publishing. This copy is still crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are crisp and clean with no markings seen. The binding is tight and straight. Black hardcover boards are also near fine with barely a hint of shelf wear. The accompanying dust jacket is clean and shiny with only light shelf wear including a tiny tear top front edge. Standard octavo book size or 6" x 9" with 381 pages.
The Bad Place by Dean Koontz is another great installment by one of the best writers in the horror genre. This eerie tale finds Frank waking in an alley knowing nothing but his name and that he is in great danger. He takes refuge in a motel only to wake with blood all over his hands. He knows he is no killer but is now fearful of sleeping because each time he awakens there is a strange object in his hands or pockets. And each object is more frightening than before. This horror novel is a classic tale of good and evil sure to keep readers on the edge of their seat.
