This is a very good hardcover, NO dust jacket, jacket missing. 1965 Citadel Press by arrangement from Philosophical Library. This copy is very clean inside and out. We did not see any marks or writing and there is no foxing. The binding is tight and straight. Gray hardcover boards are also very good with only a hint of shelf wear. Standard octavo book size or 6" x 9" with 349 pages.
A Treasury of Albert Schweitzer has been edited by Thomas Keirnan. It includes an editors preface along with acknowledgements and sources. Chapters include Reverence for Life, Feeling for Animal Life, Respect for Life, Riddles of Existence, Goethe, Sanctuary of Thought, Pilgrimage to Humanity, Philosophy of Religion and much more. The book is divided into "four book" working its way through philosophy, world peace, and more. It ends with a General Summary and Conclusion. The book is an important and respected collection of philosophy writings.
