This is a very good hardcover with accompanying slipcase. 1967 Heritage Press. This copy is very clean inside and out. The inside pages are remarkably crisp and clean given age. No markings seen. The binding is tight and straight. Blue marbled-design hardcover boards are also very good with only very light shelf wear. The accompanying slipcase is very good but does have light shelf wear along corners/edges. Slipcase is in matching blue marbled-design matching hardcover. Super octavo book size or 7.5" x 11" with 361 pages.
Selections from the Personal, Political and Philosophical Writings of Thomas Jefferson has been selected and edited by Saul K. Padover. This copy contains the original accompanying Heritage Press/Sandglass Pamphlet. It has been finely illustrated with lithographs by Lynd Ward. The selections are some of the most famous and poignant writings as selected by the author who is a renowned Jefferson lecturer and historian.
