This is a very good hardcover with dust jacket. 2004 Lyons Press. The inside pages are still crisp and clean and the only markings seen is previous store stamps inside front cover on first blank page. Brown hardcover boards under jacket are also very good with only very light shelf wear to corners/edges. The binding is tight and straight. The accompanying dust jacket is very good, also with only light shelf wear. Larger hardcover, 9" x 8" rectangle with 275 pages.

The number of American farms is dropping every day but they were determined to succeed. The book gives insight into the life of a farm run on a small scale, by a family with help from the community. It is about day-to-day family living and operating small organic farm. It is about relationships, family, parents, children and the land.
