This is a near fine (almost like new) leather-bound hardcover. 1979 Signed Limited Edition from Franklin Library. This copy is crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are still crisp and clean with no markings seen. The binding is tight and straight. Fine binding from Franklin Library includes full leather binding in grey leather with gold design and lettering. Smyth sewn binding with acid neutral paper ensures durability minimizing deterioration. All three page edges tipped in gold, NOTE: there is some wearing of gold gilt to page edge, see photo. Overall gilt in very good condition. Fine binding accentuated with hubbed (raised band spine) and inside endpapers are grey silk moire fabric BUT NOTE there is light fading to edges of moire fabric along edge, not a serious flaw. Medium octavo book size or 6.5" x 9.5" with 523 pages including afterword.
