This is a very good set of two hardcover, no dust jackets. 1999 Nelson DoubleDay Publishing. This set is very good inside and out. The pages are still very clean with no markings seen. The bindings are tight and straight. Red hardcover boards with tan quarter trim and also very good with only very light shelf wear. The bindings are tight and straight. Top page edges tipped in red matching red hardcover boards. Standard octavo book size or 6" x 9" with 570 pages each including glossary in Volume Two. NOTE: given the standard octavo book size and the complete works being contained, we feel it should be considered that the text is smaller and should be considered as such.
This set of two hardcover contains the complete works of Shakespeare. The words are arranged in chronological order. It was edited by W. G. Clark and W, Aldis Wright. There is an intro to each play adapted from the Shakespearean Primer of Professor Dowden.
