This is a very good rare copy of Thomas Bulfinch's Age of Fable of Beauties of Mythology. David McKay Publishing 1898. This copy is very good inside and out. The pages inside only have light natural tanning from age with no markings seen. The binding is tight and straight, no loose pages found but NOTE: the only flaw to binding seen is inside back cover where there is wearing to binding BUT no loose pages Photo frontispiece of Apollo still has tissue guard in place. The red hardcover boards are also very good given age with light shelf wear along edges/corners. There is only light fading of title lettering along the spine and front cover embossed with design and gold title lettering is very good. Standard octavo book size or 6" x 9" with 501 pages including index and dictionary.
