This is a near fine (almost like new) larger hardcover with dust jacket. 1999 Chartwell Books. This copy is crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are still crisp and clean with no markings seen. The binding is tight and straight. Full color illustrated hardcover boards matching dust jacket are also near fine. The accompanying dust jacket is clean and shiny with only very light shelf wear to corners/edges. Quarto book size (coffee table book) or 9" x 12" with 110 pages.
The Military Propeller Aircraft Guide is a lavishly illustrated (in full color) record of the propeller-driven aircraft that have flown since 1914. Aircraft such as the Sopwith Camel, Hawker Hurricane, North American Mustang, and Boeing B-29 Superfortress along with many other are featured. They are arranged chronologically to allow the reader to examine the transformation of the propeller warplane from the wood and canvas models of World War One to the state-of-the-art present day models. With over 150 color artworks of 53 aircraft it is a complete and detailed reference of the warplane.
