This is a near fine (almost like new) hardcover with dust jacket. First Edition 1989 Del Ray Ballantine Books. This copy is still crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are still crisp and clean with no markings seen. The binding is tight and straight. Cream color hardcover boards with tan cloth quarter trim under jacket are also near fine with barely a hint of shelf wear. The accompanying dust jacket is clean and shiny with only very light shelf wear to corners/edges. Standard medium octavo book size or 6.5" x 9.5" with 384 pages.
The Renegades of Pern by Anne McCaffrey is one of the fantasy series that she began writing in 1967, starting with Dragonflight, known as Dragonriders of Pern series. The series was immensely popular and still remains so. This First Edition collectible is a fine addition for any fiction/fantasy library or McCaffrey fan.
