This is a very good hardcover NO dust jacket, jacket missing. 1969 Little Brown Publishing BCE NOT a true First Edition. This copy is very clean inside and out. The pages only have very light natural tanning from age, no foxing or marks seen. The binding is tight and straight. Blue hardcover boards are also very good, clean with only light shelf wear. Standard crown octavo book size or 5.5" x 8.5" with 284 pages. Illustrated maps inside front and back endpapers.
The French Connection by Robin Moore subtitled A True Account of Cops, Narcotics, and International Conspiracy is a nonfiction true crime book. It follows the "French Connection" drug-smuggling network. The book was adapted into film in 1971 and spawned a sequel in 1975. This edition has a black and white photo spread of vintage photos. The story details two detectives in New York City as they uncover a notorious drug ring. They surveil "Patsy" Fuca under suspicions he is consorting with criminals when it becomes apparent Fuca is involved in a large heroine smuggling ring involving several Frenchmen.
