This is a near fine (almost like new) hardcover. 1999 Classic Library Edition, Illustrated. NOTE: only minor flaw seen to this copy is inside front cover there is "This Book Belongs To" space where previous owners name has been neatly marked out. Otherwise, inside pages are still crisp and clean with no other markings seen. The binding is tight and straight. The cover front and back is illustrated in color and it still clean and shiny with barely a hint of shelf wear. Slightly larger size, near royal octavo book size or 8" x 9.5" with 307 pages.
This Classic Library edition of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass contains reprints of the original John Tenniel illustrations with 8 of them in full color and the rest in black and white drawings. It is bound to be a handsome edition with the color illustrations on the cover and maroon leather-like quarter trim. Fine edition of the classic literary tales beloved for generations.
