This is a near fine (almost like new) set of 4 paperbacks. Circa 1990's each, they detail walking, hiking, camping and features of the Great Smokey Mountains and the Appalachian Trail. Each is crisp and clean inside and out. The bindings are tight and straight. They are standard trade size paperbacks, or 6" x 9" approx. The covers are all clean and almost like new with barely a hint of shelf wear.
Included in this set of 4 books is the following: Hiking The Great Smokey Mountains 1999 by Carson Brewer, The Best in Tent Camping The Southern Appalachian and Smokey Mountains 1999 Johnny Molloy, Waterfall Walks and Drives in the Great Smokey Mountains and the Western Carolinas by Mark Morrison, and Walking the Appalachian Trail 1994 by Larry Luxenberg. There are color photo spreads in several of the books and maps and details throughout all of them. Although they may seem outdated, the information about the mountains, trails and history gives intrepid hikers and campers basic information and history.
