This is a rare, solid, good hardcover, NO dust jacket. NOTE: THIS IS AN EX-LIBRARY COPY, SEE BINDING NOTE. 1916 Smithsonian Institute Printing. Original intact archaeological map still attached inside. This copy is a good inside and out. there is light natural tanning to pages from age but no foxing or marks seen. The binding is tight and straight BUT there is the start of binding crack between pages 36-37 (see photo). Regardless, the pages are still tight to binding. There are two library stickers inside front cover (see photo). Olive green hardcover boards are very good with only light shelf wear. This rare copy still has the original attached map featuring the Archeological Map Jemez Plateau Mexico attached and intact at the end of the book. Standard octavo book size or 6" x 9" with 124 pages including index.
