This is a very good hardcover. 1944 Ginn Publishing. This copy is very clean inside and out. The pages are still crisp and clean with no markings seen. Inside front and back cover there is some light tanning but inside pages are not showing tanning of foxing etc. The binding is tight and straight. Black hardcover boards have embossed design front and gold design and title/author/publisher lettering on spine. Hardcover boards are also very good with barely a hint of shelf wear. Standard octavo book size or 6" x 9" with 954 pages including index.
