This is a rare signed by author limited edition book. Out of Soundings is a collection of essays from H.M. Tomlinson. This edition is illustrated by H. Charles Tomlinson. It is a collection of essays that speak of travel and experiences, but it is not a travel book. When a ship has beneath her keel more water than can by plumbed, mariners call that "out of soundings". The title carries significance symbolism throughout the essays. Essays include A Brown Owl, Interlude, The Turn of The Tide, Beauty and The Beast, Exploration, One January Morning and more.
