This is a very good hardcover, NO dust jacket, jacket missing. Circa late 1980's Scribner Publishing. Copyright renewed in the 1960's, this is a reprint from Scribner. This copy is still crisp and clean inside. The pages are crisp, clean and free of markings. The binding is tight and straight. Blue hardcover boards with navy quarter trim are also very good with only a hint of shelf wear. Standard octavo book size or 6" x 9" with 247 pages.
Published in 1926, The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway was the authors first novel. The novels portrays two expatriates who travel along Camino de Santiago from Paris to Pamplona for the running of the bulls. The novel is based upon some of those in Hemingway's inner circle and draws from Hemingway's life in Paris and his trip to Spain.
