Thousands of readers have discovered their favorite traveler in Paul Theroux. They have seen the Far East and South America through his eyes. In Sunrise with Seamonsters, his journeys take place not only in the exotic and unexpected places of the world but in the thought, reading, and emotions of the writer himself. He scans Corsica, Afghanistan and Uganda and perceives "seamonsters" of Cape Cod. The people he meets along the way are fascinating and assorted. Sure to please any armchair traveler.
