This is a near fine (almost like new) large hardcover with accompanying slipcase. 1978 Institute in Basic Youth Conflicts. This copy is crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are still crisp and clean with no markings seen. The binding is tight and straight. Hardcover boards in marbled tan with brown quarter trim are also near fine. The accompanying slipcase is very good, clean and still shiny with light shelf wear along edges/corners. Large quarto book size or 9.25" x 13" with 382 pages including index. Characteristics of the bear, woodchuck or animal featured include their habitat and routines that demonstrate the principles of the chapter with additional illustrations and line drawings. Readers will learn how the raccoon (also delightfully illustrated) shows the need for caution when exploring areas of interest. And do you know how the red fox illustrates decisiveness in making accurate evaluations? It is completely detailed with characteristics and physical features of the red fox.
