This is a near fine (almost like new) leather-bound limited edition hardcover. 1978 Franklin Library Greatest Books of the Western World Collectors Edition. This copy is crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are still crisp and clean with no markings seen. Handsome and fine edition bound in olive green leather w gold design and lettering. Gold gilt page edges, Smyth sewn binding with attached satin bookmark. Vellum endpapers and hubbed spine make this a fine binding collectors edition. Medium octavo book size or 6.5" x 9.5" with 502 pages.

The Odyssey is one of two Greek epic poems written by Homer. It follows the Greek hero Odysseus on his journey home after the Trojan War. It is considered to be one of the great literary accomplishments and classic Greek literature.
