This is a very good hardcover with dust jacket. 1998 Simon & Schuster Publishing. This is a very good copy, showing a little wear but clean and solid. The pages inside are clean with no markings seen. Only a hint of wear inside. The binding is tight and straight. Yellow hardcover boards with quarter black trim under dust jacket are also very good with only a hint of shelf wear. The dust jacket is clean and still shiny, also with only light shelf wear. Good solid copy showing only light wear. There is a bit of dust spotting along top page edges but light and does not carry over to inside. Near super octavo book size or 8" x 10" with 270 pages.
There is really no one else quite like Cher. The First Time by Cher as told to Jeff Coplon is a narrative told by Cher about some of the most important events in her life. She recalls her mother, her first public performance as a 5th grader, the first time she met her father, living with Sonny Bono, her first recording studio singing back up for Phil Spector and of course, her hit record, "I Got You Babe".
Along with the narrative are extensive photos that bring the story to life and the reader down memory lane. All this and much more are included in this personal and detailed story.
