This copy is very good inside and out. The pages inside are very clean with no markings seen. Numerous attached pull out maps and illustrations are still in place and very good, intact and clean (see photos). The binding is tight and straight. Tan hardcover boards are also very good front and back with gold lettering front and spine. Only very light wearing to cover. There is a little dust spotting on outside page edges but does not carry over to inside. There is no major foxing, only a few pages have some foxing spots but overall very good given age. There is no foul odor but it seems to carry a bit of old book odor as acceptable given age. Medium octavo book size or 6.5" x 9" with 490 pages including index.
